"Do It For The Kids Foundation" was founded by Milton Bullock in Virginia in 1980, and in the last 30 years it has grown into the award winning youth organization it is today. The focus is on at-risk youth - offering alternatives to kids who may not have opportunities. The goal of the program is to provide musical programs and guidance to expose young people to core values and spiritual integrity.
Kids are drawn from schools, from state penal systems, and from the street with the promise of allowing them to fulfill their full potential. Mr Bullock has been able to use his celebrity status, along with friends such as Muhammad Ali and Magic Johnson, to enforce principles of self respect and self accountability. The foundation also donates advocacy, money, and other resources to the following :
Parkinson Disease Foundation in honor of Ali.
Mercy Ships lifesaving surgeries on the world's biggest civilian hospital ship.
Asthma Allergy Foundation of America
